Bhubaneswar: The titanium slag production process in India will be accelerated. It is expected that the manufactured goods will be exported to many countries and the scope of aircraft parts manufacture will increase.
According to an official press release, an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Indo-Kazakh joint venture company and Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Plant JSC Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that Odisha plays a major role in the supply of raw materials in the field of titanium manufactured in the country.
The signing of the MoU will increase the supply of rare earth raw materials from the state. This will create employment opportunities in Odisha.
President UKTMPJSC Asem Mamutova and Chairman & Managing Director of IRL (India) Ltd. Dipendra Singh signed the MoU.
On the occasion of signing of the MoU, A K Mohanty, Asem Mamutova, President, UKTMP JSC, IRL (India) Ltd Chairman and Managing Director Deependra Singh were present.
