Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced that the preliminary examination for the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023 will take place on December 15, 2024.
This date was previously set for October 27, 2024, but was postponed due to Cyclonic Storm Dana, which made landfall in Odisha. The OPSC released a notification announcing the tentative date for the exam.
“The Commission has decided to conduct the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2023, pursuant to Advt. No. 20 of 2023-24 tentatively on 15.12.2024 (Sunday). Detailed programme on the said examination shall be notified later,” the notification stated.
The examination is being held to fill 399 positions in Group A and Group B. Candidates who have applied for the examination are advised to regularly check the OPSC website (www.opsc.gov.in) for updates on the examination schedule and other important information.
The OPSC OCS exam consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test or Interview.
