Bhubaneswar: Here’s some good news for fliers. The Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar will soon expand connectivity and launch new domestic flight routes by IndiGo and Air India Express in January 2025.
BPIA authorities informed on Thursday that IndiGo and Air India Express will introduce flights in new routes from the first week of January 2025. While Indigo will begin flights to Indore four days a week and Dehradun thrice a week from January 1 Air India Express will commence new flights to Lucknow and Jaipur thrice a week. Air India Express will also commence daily flights to Cochin from January 3.
The Indigo flights to Indore and Dehradun will depart from Bhubaneswar at 3:00 PM.
Air India Express also plans to expand its network with five new destinations from Bhubaneswar, further enhancing the city’s air connectivity.
According to BPIA, it plans to commence new flights to Bengaluru from January 4. These flights will leave BPIA at 6:15 AM and arrive at 12:20 midnight.
