Bhubaneswar: A 21-day-old girl was been rescued from the roadside near RTO No. 1 in Bhubaneswar. The newborn girl has been admitted to the Capital Hospital.
According to reports, passers-by noticed a newborn wrapped in cloth lying on the roadside near a settlement near the RTO on Friday morning and informed the police.
Hospital authorities said the baby girl is in good health.
The police are investigating the case to trace the identity of those responsible for abandoning the child.
