Police-Public Face-Off At Tussura Police Station In Balangir

Bolangir: Tension prevailed at Tussura police station in Balangir district following a clash between police and locals on Sunday.

The incident began with a dispute between Godampada and Phalpadapanapada villages. Residents of Godampada claimed that their issues were not addressed by the police.

Protesting outside the police station today, Godampada residents demanded action, but the situation escalated when some individuals stormed the police station, attempting to damage a police vehicle. The police responded with force and dispersed the crowd.

The situation remains volatile, with additional police forces deployed to the Tusura station. The situation is still tense. Police forces have been deployed in and around the police station.
