Bhubaneswar: The 14th tranche of the Rozgar Mela, a flagship initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was celebrated with grandeur at CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar, under the aegis of CRPF Bhubaneswar. The event saw the ceremonial distribution of Offer of Appointment letters to newly selected candidates for various Government of India departments.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a presentation of potted plants to dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Prithviraj Harichandan, Minister of Law, Works, & Excise. Harichandan congratulated the appointees on their achievement and encouraged them to contribute significantly to nation-building.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressed the gathering and inaugurated the 14th tranche by pressing a remote button, symbolizing the dispatch of over 71,000 appointment letters nationwide. In Bhubaneswar, 401 selected candidates received their Offer of Appointment letters from the Chief Guest.
The event was attended by senior officials, including Amitendra Nath Sinha, IG, CRPF, Prof. Dinakar Pasla, Dean, SRIC, IIT Bhubaneswar, Goutam Patra, General Manager and Convenor SLBC Odisha, and other distinguished representatives from Central Government organizations.
This milestone event witnessed enthusiastic participation from dignitaries, newly appointed candidates, and their families, marking another step toward realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of employment generation.
