CM Majhi Interacts With Padma Shri Awardees, Discusses Cultural Preservation

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi interacted with esteemed Padma Shri awardees, including Dr. Jitendra Haripal, Chaturbhuja Meher, Pramod Bhagat, and Sudarshan Sahoo.

To recognize their remarkable contributions, the State government introduced an honorarium pension of Rs 30,000 for all Padma Shri recipients.

 CM Majhi stated, “I was deeply humbled by their appreciation for this initiative, which acknowledges their dedication and achievements.” During the discussion, they explored ways to preserve and promote Odisha’s rich cultural heritage.

CM Majhi added, “I greatly value the insightful suggestions shared by these luminaries and reaffirm my commitment to advancing our glorious traditions and culture.”

Majhi appealed to the people of Odisha to honour the cultural icons, which is a top priority for the government.
