20 Passengers Hurt As Bus Hits Electric Pole And Overturns In Sundargarh

Bhubaneswar: As many as 20 passengers sustained injuries as the bus they were travelling in hit an electric pole and overturned near Muchurinala under Lahunipada police station in Sundargarh district in the wee hours of Saturday.

As per reports, the mishap occurred when the bus, carrying over 50 passengers, was en route to Puri from Rourkela. The injured passengers were rushed to the IGH Medical College and Hospital in Rourkela for treatment.

Upon being informed, police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
