Bhubaneswar: The repair work of Ratna Bhandar at Shree Jagannath temple in Puri will remain suspended for seven days, from March 9 to 15.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) took the decision based on the suggestion of Chhattisa Nijoga for the conduct of special rituals on the occasion of Holi and Dola Purnima.

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had commenced the repair of the Jagannath temple’s Ratna Bhandar in December last year. The Ratna Bhandar was opened after 46 years on July 14 last year.
For the first time, the ASI started the repair work on Ratna Bhandar since assuming conservation responsibilities of the 12th-century shrine.
