Bhubaneswar: President of India Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha beginning March 24.
During her trip, Murmu is scheduled to visit the revered Kantilo Nilamadhab temple in Nayagarh and offer prayers. Furthermore, she will grace the Dikhyant Samaroha event at Ravenshaw University as the chief guest, underscoring her commitment to promoting education and intellectual pursuits.
To ensure a smooth and secure visit, the Nayagarh Collector and Superintendent of Police have reviewed the security arrangements at the Nilamadhab temple.
As per the schedule, President Murmu will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 1:30 pm on March 24. Upon her arrival, President Murmu’s chopper will land at Paltan Padia in Kantilo, from where she will proceed to the revered Nilamadhab temple. Following a sacred darshan of the temple deities, she will participate in a programme before leaving for the state capital. On the second day of her visit, she will attend the Dikhyant Samaroha event at Ravenshaw University as the chief guest.
