Nayagarh: In a tragic incident, three minors drowned in a pond in Godibida village under Daspalla block in Nayagarh district. The victims were identified as 11-year-old and 9-year-old boys from the same village.
According to reports, the minors had gone to bathe in the pond when one of them slipped into deep water. In an attempt to save him, two other minors jumped in, leading to a triple tragedy.
The bodies were recovered from the pond and taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared them dead. The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the village, with the families and locals in shock.
