Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, three persons including a minor boy were killed after a tractor overturned at around 11 pm on Saturday at Bahadur Nagar near Pattamundai Canal under Balichandrapur police station in Jajpur district.
The deceased were identified as Benga Dalai (55), her husband Utsav Dalai (60), and their grandson Duryodhan Dalai (14). Two others, including the driver, were seriously injured and are reportedly in critical condition.
According to reports, the five individuals were traveling in the tractor, returning from a paddy field where they had been fishing, when the accident occurred.
After the tractor overturned, all five sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Badachana Community Health Centre. Unfortunately, the doctors declared Benga Dalai, Utsav Dalai, and Duryodhan dead, while the other two are fighting for their lives.
