Thunderstorms Likely In Four Odisha Districts In Next Three Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning, predicting light to moderate thunderstorms with gusty winds of 40-50 kmph, lightning, and light to moderate rain in four coastal districts.

According to a nowcast warning issued by the IMD, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Balasore will experience light to moderate thunderstorms with gusty wind speeds reaching 40-50 kmph, lightning, and light to moderate rain in the next two to three hours.

Residents are advised to monitor the weather for worsening conditions and be prepared to seek shelter in safer locations to protect themselves from lightning strikes. Stay tuned for further updates.
