Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange warning to seven Odisha districts predicting thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching speeds of up to 60 kmph.
The warning has been issued for districts across multiple states, including Ganjam, Puri, Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Nayagarh.
The nowcast warning issued by the IMD at 7:50 am has advised people to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places accordingly.
