Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, today to mark the completion of one year of the BJP government in the state.
The objective behind PM Modi’s visit is to celebrate the BJP government’s first anniversary in Odisha and unveil the state’s ‘Vision Document 2036’, a comprehensive roadmap for Odisha’s long-term growth. During his visit, he will also highlight key milestone achievements of the Mohan Majhi-led government, including the success of the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme, and roll out Ayushman Bharat health cards.
PM Modi’s visit is expected to draw a large crowd, with over 1 lakh people anticipated to attend the event at Janata Maidan. He will felicitate five ‘Lakhpati Didis’ or women achievers who have crossed the Rs 1 lakh annual income mark through self-help initiatives. The Prime Minister will also distribute Ayushman Bharat Health Cards to five senior citizens, marking the official launch of the scheme in Odisha.

- 3:40 pm: Will arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar, and receive a ceremonial welcome
- 3:45 pm – 4:15 pm: Will participate in a roadshow from the airport to Janata Maidan, featuring vibrant Odia folk music and dance performances
- 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm: Will attend a public event at Janata Maidan
- Will unveil Odisha’s ‘Vision Document 2036’
- Will launch new development and welfare projects worth Rs 17,000 crore
- Will felicitate five ‘Lakhpati Didis’
- Will distribute Ayushman Bharat Health Cards to five senior citizens
