Elderly Man Dies Of Snakebite In Balasore

Balasore: An elderly man died after being bitten by a venomous snake at Chalismadha village under Sabira Gram Panchayat in Balasore district.

The deceased has been identified as Jagabandhu Nayak, a resident of Chalismadha village.

According to reports, Jagabandhu was bitten on his left leg by the snake while he was on his way to his paddy field. Despite being rushed to Soro Hospital, he was declared dead by the doctor.

The Soro police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
