Web Journalist Murdered By Miscreants In Malkangiri

Malkangiri: A web journalist was killed in a brutal attack by miscreants in Malkangiri district. The deceased, identified as C.H. Naresh, was a journalist working for a web channel.

According to reports, Naresh and some other journalists and friends were chatting inside a car near Muraliguda village in the Motu police station area when five miscreants on two motorcycles suddenly launched the attack.

Naresh was brutally assaulted with a sword and a sharp weapon, sustaining serious injuries to his hand. The miscreants also stole the car from the scene. Naresh was rushed to Motu Health Center in critical condition, where he received primary treatment before being referred to the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital. However, the doctor there declared him dead on arrival.

Some others have been injured in the incident. The exact reason behind the attack remains unclear. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident. The miscreants are absconding.
