Man Beats Wife To Death Over Domestic Dispute In Rayagada; Arrested

Rayagada: A shocking incident of domestic violence has emerged from Gendawalsa village under Sheshkhal police station limits in Rayagada district, where a man allegedly beat his wife to death with a stick following a heated argument on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Sindhe Kandagari.

According to reports, a dispute broke out between Sindhe and her husband, Balya, which quickly turned violent. In a fit of rage, Balya reportedly assaulted Sindhe with a wooden stick, leading to her death on the spot.

Following a tip-off from villagers, police personnel reached the scene, seized the body, and sent it for postmortem.

The accused husband was arrested soon after the incident.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the full circumstances behind the crime.

The brutal incident has left Gendawalsa village in shock and mourning.
