Bhubaneswar: As many as 15 passengers were injured after a government bus lost its balance and overturned near Akhusingh on National Highway 326 under Padmapur police jurisdiction in Rayagada district.
According to reports, the bus, carrying 49 passengers, was en route from Puri to Kotpad when the accident occurred. Locals immediately informed the police, who rushed to the scene and rescued the injured passengers. The injured passengers were then rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined, and a police investigation is underway to determine the reason behind the mishap.
