Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has announced that no admit cards will be issued for the Annual Higher Secondary Examination (AHSE), 2026, unless schools submit their Staff In Position (SIP) data online on time.
According to an official notification issued by Dr. Prasanta Kumar Parida, Controller of Examinations, CHSE has urged all Higher Secondary Schools and Composite Colleges affiliated with CHSE to upload the details of their teaching staff on the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal between August 29 and September 30, 2025. This data helps the council prepare the teachers’ gradation list, which is important for assigning examination duties.
The submission process will be conducted exclusively via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal. Institutions are instructed to access the “SIP” link in their respective logins and enter the required data. Only eligible teaching staff—not below the rank of Junior Lecturer or Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)—are to be included. Demonstrators and teachers debarred from Plus II exam duties must be strictly excluded.
The council has also mandated the inclusion of each teacher’s WhatsApp number, email ID, and accurate date of joining to maintain data authenticity and prevent discrepancies.
In a stern warning, CHSE clarified that student admit cards will be withheld from institutions that fail to submit the SIP data accurately and within the deadline.
“It is to inform you that the admit cards of the students will not be released for the H.S. Schools if they fail to provide correct and complete SIP data in due time,” the notification stated.
Additionally, it reiterated that no hard copies or email submissions of the SIP data will be accepted.
“NB: Teachers who have been debarred from all +2 examination-related duties are strictly prohibited from including their names in the SIP data. This must be treated as MOST URGENT,” the notification further stated.
This directive applies to all Government and Government-aided Higher Secondary Schools and Colleges, including SSD and Upgraded institutions, while excluding self-financing schools.
