Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan to review the development plans for the revered Ghatgaon Maa Tarini Temple in Keonjhar. The meeting focused on enhancing the temple’s infrastructure and amenities while prioritising the convenience of devotees and local residents.
The development plan aims to establish the temple as a major spiritual destination while preserving its cultural and historical significance. The project is expected to boost regional tourism, create employment opportunities, and stimulate local economic growth.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Works and Law Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Principal Secretary to the Law Department, Commissioner and Secretary to the Tourism Department, Endowment Commissioner, and many intellectuals and local residents of the Ghatgaon area.
The opinions of local intellectuals were taken into consideration to ensure that the development work is done, keeping in mind the convenience of devotees and local people.
