Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has extended the operation of two key special trains running within Odisha to meet the increasing passenger demand. The Bhanjpur–Puri–Bhanjpur and Shalimar–Puri–Shalimar special trains will now continue to operate until mid-September 2025 without any changes to their existing schedules, stoppages, or coach compositions.
The Bhanjpur–Puri special (Train No. 08011/08012) has been extended until September 13 from Bhanjpur and September 14 from Puri. Meanwhile, the Shalimar–Puri special (Train No. 02839/02840) will run until September 14 from Shalimar and September 15 from Puri.
Passengers planning their journeys are advised to take note of the extended operation period and make travel arrangements accordingly.
