Bhubaneswar: A violent scuffle broke out at the University Law College on Saturday night, leaving two second-year LLB students injured.

The altercation allegedly occurred when senior students, including a third-year LLB student, beat up the younger students after they protested ragging on the campus. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute over an apology.

The affected students, Dayesh Jena and Satya Barik, were brutally beaten, with Dayesh Jena suffering severe injuries that have left him with a hearing problem. Satyamev Sahu and Pratyush Amrit have filed a complaint against the third-year LLB student accused of leading the assault.

The students have lodged a complaint with the Shaheed Nagar police station, and further investigation is underway.
