Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi took to Twitter to congratulate Team India on their thrilling win in the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan.
Congratulating Team India on their convincing victory in the Asia Cup 2025, Majhi tweeted, “Congratulations to Team India for an emphatic win in the T20 #AsiaCup2025. Yet again our Men in Blue shake hands with the coveted trophy right before the festive season starts.”
Notably, India clinched the Asia Cup title for the ninth time, defeating Pakistan by five wickets in a nail-biting finale at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Men in Blue chased down a target of 147 runs, with Tilak Varma playing a crucial role in their victory. Varma scored an unbeaten 69 off 53 balls, including three fours and four sixes, and formed vital partnerships with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube.
The win marked a perfect end to the tournament for India, which remained undefeated against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025.
Earlier in the tournament, India had won against Pakistan by seven wickets in the group stage and six wickets in the Super Four phase.
