Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida extended heartfelt greetings to the public on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami (Dussehra) on Thursday.
Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Chief Minister Majhi wished everyone well, highlighting the significance of the festival as a celebration of the triumph of truth over falsehood, righteousness over unrighteousness, and justice over injustice. He prayed that ‘Jagajjanani,’ the destroyer of evil, Maa Durga, bless all with happiness, prosperity, and peace, and bring welfare to the entire world.
Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo also conveyed his wishes, hoping that Maa Durga would fill people’s lives with happiness, peace, and prosperity while eliminating negativity and sorrow. He added that the goddess would eradicate all evil and bless everyone with joy, strength, and abundance.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida joined the greetings by invoking Maa Durga’s divine blessings on the sacred occasion of Durga Puja, wishing peace and prosperity to all.
