Odisha Govt Announces 3% DA Hike For State Govt Employees Ahead Of Diwali

Bhubaneswar: In a festive treat ahead of Diwali, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees. With this increase, the DA rate will rise from 55% to 58%.

The hike will be effective from July 1, 2025, and will be paid in cash along with the October salary.

Additionally, the state government has approved a corresponding 3% hike in Dearness Relief (TI) for pensioners, which will be reflected in their October pension. This move is expected to benefit approximately 8.5 lakh government employees and pensioners across Odisha.
