Cuttack: Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari distributed land pattas to over 2,000 beneficiaries in Mahanga constituency.
During his visit, Pujari also inaugurated several projects and laid the foundation stone for new initiatives.
In a special programme at Nischintakoili block office, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari announced the names of 3 new revenue villages, laid the foundation stone for four Revenue Inspector offices and inaugurated 13 revenue circles in Mahanaga constituency.
Speaking at the event, Pujari highlighted the importance of land as a vital resource and assured that the state government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, would ensure that every landless individual receives land. He emphasized that the government has introduced reforms in the revenue sector to simplify procedures and make land acquisition easier for the people.
Pujari also announced that the government would prioritize the distribution of land to those who have been deprived of it, under the Vasundhara scheme. Pujari urged the beneficiaries to utilize the land productively and make the most of the government’s initiatives.
The event was attended by local MLA Sarada Pradhan, District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde and other officials.
