Bhubaneswar: The Centre for Child Rights (CCR) at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) has released the latest issue of its flagship journal, focusing on the rights of the child. The journal’s unveiling was attended by Justice Savitri Ratho, Chairperson of the Juvenile Justice Committee (JJC) of the Orissa High Court.

This edition marks a significant milestone as the first to be internationally indexed with an e-ISSN number, reflecting the CCR’s commitment to academic excellence. The journal features 11 original submissions on various topics related to child rights, including public finance, education, nutrition, and digital safety.

During the event, Justice Ratho emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in protecting child rights, while NLUO Vice Chancellor Prof Ved Kumari highlighted the need to bridge gaps between research, policy, and practice to build an inclusive framework for children’s rights.

The journal’s editorial board, comprising renowned experts in the field, ensures that the publication adheres to the highest academic standards. The CCR invites scholars, academics, and practitioners to contribute to the journal, which is committed to expanding the scope of child rights beyond juvenile justice and POCSO.
