Bhubaneswar: In a gruesome discovery, a human skeleton was found with half of the body buried in the ground at Chandaka forest on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The remains were scattered, with the head, skull, jaw, and thigh bone visible. Locals were shocked upon stumbling upon the skeleton.

Upon receiving information, the police and forest department teams reached the spot and initiated an investigation. While half of the body was buried, the other half was exposed. Police suspect foul play and have started probing into the matter.

A local resident reportedly went missing from the area about a month ago, raising questions about the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the burial. The police are awaiting the scientific team’s report to determine the cause of death and the identity of the remains. The investigation is underway.
