Bhubaneswar: The Bhadrak Police on Sunday issued a stern warning to the public against fraudulent schemes related to home guard recruitment. Police clarified that the selection process is conducted strictly according to government and departmental rules and is fully transparent.
The advisory comes in response to reports that certain persons are attempting to exploit job seekers by falsely promising home guard positions in exchange for money.
Taking to social media platform X, the Bhadrak Police emphasised that no fraudster can influence the recruitment process. Citizens are urged not to pay money to anyone claiming to secure a home guard job, as this constitutes fraud and is a punishable offense under law.
