Bhubaneswar: As per the latest update, the Subhadra Yojana has seen significant progress, with 1,03,75,941 women having received the first instalment and 1,01,92,724 women having received the second installment. However, 4,38,898 women who have received the initial first and second instalments are still awaiting subsequent installments, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
Parida’s reply came in response to a question raised by MLA Pabitra Saunta seeking clarification on whether students receiving scholarships can benefit from the scheme. He also highlighted issues faced by some beneficiaries, including delayed payments and difficulties in applying.
Replying to the queries, the Minister further informed that 2,27,410 women have applied to join the Subhadra Yojana as of November 20, 2025.
According to the Deputy Chief Minister, students who are beneficiaries of the Subhadra Yojana and meet all the eligibility criteria can avail the benefits of the scheme.
