Bhubaneswar: The Women Holiday Camp–2025, organised under the Staff Benefit Fund (SBF) of East Coast Railway (ECoR), was ceremonially flagged off on Sunday by the General Manager at the ECoR Headquarters. A total of 72 women employees from various departments at the headquarters are participating in this three-day recreational tour, scheduled from November 30 to December 2.
The initiative, aimed at promoting relaxation, wellness, and mutual bonding among women staff, is part of East Coast Railway’s broader employee welfare programmes. Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, the General Manager underscored the vital role of welfare schemes in ensuring a healthy and productive work culture. He reiterated ECoR’s commitment to the well-being, empowerment and safety of women employees, noting that activities such as holiday camps, skill-building sessions and personal development initiatives contribute significantly to work-life balance.
During the tour, participants will explore some of the most scenic and culturally rich destinations in the Koraput region, including the Deomali Hills—Odisha’s highest peak—along with the sacred Gupteswar Temple and the picturesque Duduma Waterfall.
East Coast Railway continues to roll out employee-centric measures, strengthening support systems and reaffirming its dedication to an inclusive, supportive workplace for its women workforce.
