Bhubaneswar: The stage is set for the highly anticipated T20 match between India and South Africa, with both teams scheduled to engage in net practice at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today. However, cricket enthusiasts have a treat in store as the practice match is open to the public at the stadium in Cuttack today.
The practice match promises to be an exciting precursor to the main event, with fans eager to catch a glimpse of the cricket stars in action.
According to reports, Team India will take to the nets from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, while South Africa will practice from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The practice session is open to the public, with spectators allowed to watch from Gallery numbers 6 and 7.
On Sunday, the Indian team, led by Suryakumar Yadav, arrived in Bhubaneswar yesterday, with some players, including Shubman Gill, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, Abhishek Sharma, and Axar Patel, touching down in the evening. The team’s coach, support staff, and other players arrived later. The teams are staying at the heavily secured Mayfair Hotel, with three-tier security arrangements in place.
