Bhadrak: As many as 46 cattle were rescued while being smuggled from Bhadrak to West Bengal in a container in an inhumane route.
According to reports, Go Suraksha Bahini alerted the Khantapada police, who seized the container from Ramnagar village with the help of outfit activists and rescued the cattle before handing them over to Maa Bharati Goshala at Remuna.
Meanwhile, police registered a case in this connection, and further investigation is underway.
