Bhubaneswar: As many as 15 passengers were injured as a tourist bus carrying 17 passengers from Bhubaneswar to Sambalpur met with a mishap on National Highway 55 near Jujumura police station in Sambalpur early Saturday morning.
The bus driver reportedly lost control and hit a pole barrier. As a result, 15 passengers sustained injuries. Eight critically injured were shifted to VIMSAR in Burla while seven others were admitted to Sambalpur District Headquarters Hospital.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
