Bhubaneswar: On the first day of the New Year, Odisha’s newly appointed Chief Secretary, Anu Garg, on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati at Raj Bhavan.
During the meeting, Chief Secretary Garg extended New Year greetings to the Governor and briefed him on the state government’s key administrative priorities aimed at ensuring overall development and effective governance. The discussions covered ongoing developmental initiatives, welfare programmes, and the roadmap for accelerating Odisha’s progress in the coming year.
Both sides underlined the importance of smooth coordination between the Governor’s office and the state administration to ensure efficient implementation of policies and timely delivery of public services.
Governor Kambhampati welcomed the courtesy visit and appreciated the administration’s commitment to public service. Emphasising the need for collective and team-based efforts, he stressed that sustained development and people-centric governance should remain the core focus of the state in the year ahead.
The meeting reflected the shared resolve of the constitutional head and the state’s top bureaucrat to work in close coordination for the welfare and development of the people of Odisha.
