Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Transport Department has announced that green PUCC validity stickers will be available from January 10, 2026, for vehicles with a valid Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUCC).
According to a notification issued by the department, vehicle owners who have already obtained a valid PUCC can collect their green stickers from their respective Regional Transport Offices (RTOs). However, to facilitate the process, dedicated counters will be set up in all RTOs.
Besides, the notification made it clear that only vehicles with a valid PUCC will be eligible for the green sticker. RTO officials have been asked to verify the vehicle’s pollution certificate, registration details, and VAHAN database records before issuing the sticker.
Vehicle owners will need to produce the original or digital PUCC, a copy of the Registration Certificate (RC), and a valid identity proof to collect the sticker. If someone else is collecting the sticker on behalf of the owner, they’ll need an authorisation letter signed by the owner, along with both parties’ identity documents.
The Transport Department has set January 10, 2026, as the cut-off date for implementing the PUCC validity sticker system. Vehicles with PUCCs obtained up to January 9, 2026, will get stickers from their RTO, while those tested on or after January 10 will receive stickers directly from authorised PUC testing centres during testing.
