Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi marked the 11th anniversary of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) scheme, highlighting the importance of educated and empowered daughters in building a progressive India.
In a social media post, Majhi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting and empowering girl children.
The BBBP scheme has made significant strides in improving the child sex ratio, increasing girls’ enrollment in schools, and promoting women’s empowerment.
Majhi highlighted the government’s efforts to ensure dignity, safety, and equal opportunities for girls.
