Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Deputy CMs KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik extended warm wishes on the 77th Republic Day.
“Greetings to all on the occasion of Republic Day. May this occasion add renewed energy and enthusiasm to our collective resolve to build a Viksit Bharat.,” Majhi tweeted.
Deputy CM KV Singh Deo paid respects to martyrs and freedom fighters, saying, “Best wishes on Republic Day. I salute those who sacrificed for nation’s unity and security.”
Deputy CM Pravati Parida emphasized democracy’s pride and Constitution’s importance, urging citizens to remember duties alongside rights.
Leader of Opposition and former chief minister Naveen Patnaik highlighted democracy’s pillars – peace, friendship, and goodwill – and sought collective efforts to make Odisha and India excel.
“Heartfelt greetings and congratulations on Republic Day. Peace, brotherhood, and goodwill are the foundational pillars of our democracy. Let us all move forward together, keeping it intact, towards making the state and the country the best,” he posted on X.
