Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a secretary-level meeting at Kharavela Bhavan, focusing on budget expenditure, revenue collection, and project implementation.
The meeting reviewed expenditure and revenue collection status as of January 31, 2026, noting significant increases in sectors like agriculture, fisheries, and social services. Key areas of focus included industry, sports, science, technology, and tourism, with instructions to expedite work and meet revenue targets.
Chief Secretary Garg advised secretaries to innovate schemes and programs, prioritizing people welfare, and emphasized field visits to monitor projects and address inter-departmental issues.
Among others, Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Deoranjan Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of General Administration and Public Grievance Department Surendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretaries of various departments, Additional Chief Secretaries to the Chief Minister, Principal Secretaries of all other departments, Commissioners and Secretaries were present and participated in the discussion.
