Deogarh: As many 20 artistes of Opera Western Odisha Jatra Party sustained injuries as the bus carrying the artistes overturned at Dhangapathar Ghati under Riamal police station in Deogarh district.
As per reports, the accident occurred when the artists were returning from a performance in Dhangapathar village. Local residents rescued the artistes.
The injured, including some in critical condition, were rushed to Kansar Hospital and later referred to Deogarh District Headquarters Hospital for further treatment.
Riamal police have, meanwhile, launched an investigation into the incident.
