Bhubaneswar: A bomb threat email sent to various district courts in Odisha, including Bargarh Civil Court, has triggered panic and heightened security measures.
As per reports, the email threatened to blow up the courts following which police and bomb squad teams to rush to the scene and conduct thorough searches. The incident has led to the evacuation of court premises, with judges, staff, and lawyers being asked to leave the area.
Meanwhile, police are investigating the matter, but it is believed to be a hoax, similar to a previous threat received on February 6.
The development has raised concerns about the safety and security of judicial institutions in the state, with many questioning the motive behind such threats.
