Farmer Dies After Falling Off Tractor In Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar: A farmer from Gayalmunda Bhalughara, village after he fell off a tractor near Dhenka Square in Keonjhar district.

The deceased has been identified as Ramjan Mahanta (46).

As per reports, Ramjan was going to sell paddy at a mill in Hatadihi area when he met with a mishap.

According to reports, Ramjan was one of four persons on the tractor, which was carrying paddy to the mill. He fell off the tractor near Dhenka Square, and the vehicle ran over him, resulting in his death on the spot.

The other occupants fled the scene with the tractor, leaving Ramjan behind.

The police have launched an investigation and seized the tractor. The body has been sent to Anandapur Hospital for post-mortem examination.
