CM Majhi Mourns Passing Of Senior Journalist Ashutosh Mishra, Calls It ‘Irreplaceable Loss’

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the passing of senior journalist Ashutosh Mishra, describing it as an ‘irreplaceable loss’ to Odisha’s journalism community.

Majhi conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to Lord Shree Jagannath for the peaceful departure of the departed soul.

Taking to his X handle, he wrote: “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of senior journalist Ashutosh Mishra. His demise is an irreplaceable loss to the world of journalism in Odisha. While conveying condolences to the bereaved family members, I pray to Lord Shri Jagannath for the peaceful departure of the departed soul. Om Shanti.”

Ashutosh Mishra was known for his fearless and principled reporting, and his contributions to journalism will be remembered for his impact and high professional standards.

Leader of Opposition (LoP) expressed grief over his demise, praising his sharp political insights and commitment to factual journalism.
