Bhubaneswar: At least two persons were injured after a car rammed into two scooters and mounted a road divider in the Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar on Saturday, causing significant damage to the vehicles and disrupting traffic movement.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred near a petrol pump in Chandrasekharpur when the car hit two scooters from behind with considerable force. The impact left both scooters badly damaged. Following the collision, the car lost control and climbed onto the divider.
Two individuals sustained injuries in the mishap. Personnel from the Chandrasekharpur Fire Service and local police promptly reached the spot, rescued the injured, and shifted them to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
Traffic movement in the area was affected for some time due to the accident, with authorities working to clear the road and restore normalcy.
