Jeypore (Koraput): In a spectacular display of skill and discipline, the Border Security Force (BSF) organized a dog show and arms exhibition at the Raja Mahal premises in Jeypore on Monday, as part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations (December 1, 2025 – December 1, 2026). The event attracted students, local residents, and families, highlighting six decades of the force’s dedicated service and sacrifice.
As part of the celebrations, the BSF showcased its operational capabilities through an arms and equipment exhibition, a silent battle demonstration, and a dog show. The program was conducted under the banner of “Bharat Ke Veer”, with active participation from CRPF, COBRA, and CISF units. Visitors were given a close look at the various techniques and tools used by the security forces to safeguard the nation.
BSF personnel demonstrated combat and tactical skills, while children from local schools performed patriotic dances, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Families of jawans who had sacrificed their lives for the country were felicitated during the event, receiving recognition for their bravery and dedication.
BSF DIG Satyavan Khanchi, the chief guest, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the families of martyrs and lauded the courage and professionalism of the security forces. Guests of honour included Jeypore Maharaja Vishveshvar Chandrachud Dev, SDPO Archita Mittal, and other civil administration officials.
The event also featured demonstrations such as CRPF unarmed combat drills, fire safety exercises, and dog squad performances, reflecting the preparedness and skill of India’s security personnel. Organisers said the program aimed to strengthen the bond between the forces and the local community, while inspiring youth toward patriotism, discipline, and public service.
School students and teachers were among the large number of attendees who witnessed the displays, making the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Jeypore a memorable event.
