Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has assured the people of Odisha not to panic amid the prevailing war situation in West Asia, stating that the state government is fully prepared to handle any eventualities.
“I have reviewed the impact of the war situation. Action has been taken on black marketing. We are vigilant as per the Prime Minister’s instructions — don’t panic,” the Chief Minister said firmly.
While presenting the statement on the expenditure sanction bill, CM Majhi assured that adequate stocks of petrol, diesel, cooking gas, and fertilisers are available across the state. He directed officials to remain on high alert and conduct strict monitoring to prevent any artificial shortage.
“The government is ready to face any situation that may arise. Those who violate law and order will be punished as per the law,” he warned.
