Bhubaneswar: The State Selection Board (SSB) has announced the schedule for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2026. The examination will be conducted from May 5 to May 16, 2026, across the state.
The CPET will be held for admission into 50 postgraduate subjects across the state. The examination will be conducted in two sessions each day: the first session from 10:00 AM to 11:40 AM, and the second session from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM.
On the first day (May 5), candidates appearing for subjects such as Commerce, Biotechnology, Sociology, Environmental Science, Education, and Anthropology (Arts) will take the examination.
A total of 58,708 students have applied for 31,915 postgraduate seats. Admit cards will be available for download from April 30, 2026. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official SSB website: https://ssbodisha.ac.in/
Selection of candidates for postgraduate courses will be based on the marks obtained in the CPET examination.
