Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has suspended additional tehsildar of Khariar in Nuapada district and Odisha Revenue Service Officer (ORS) Bhupinder Singh. The action has been taken under the Odisha Civil Services Classification, Control and Appeal (CC&A) Rules, 1962.
During the suspension, Singh’s headquarters is fixed at the office of Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC, North Division), Sambalpur and he cannot leave the headquarters without prior permission.
Along with this, during the suspension, he will be entitled to only subsistence allowance (SBA) as per the Odisha Service Code.
