Bhubaneswar: BJP National President Nitin Nabin held important meetings with senior party leaders and office-bearers on Monday during his first visit to Odisha after assuming charge of the party’s top post.
As per reports, a crucial Core Committee meeting was held at the BJP State Headquarters in Bhubaneswar. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, State BJP President Manmohan Samal, BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Odisha BJP In-Charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar, Co-In-Charge Lata Usendi, and other senior leaders.
Prominent attendees also included both Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida and Minister Suresh Pujari, MP Pratap Sarangi and Sambit Patra, and State Organisation Secretary Manas Kumar Mohanty.
According to sources, the meeting reviewed the current organisational status, previous assignments, and future responsibilities of party workers and office-bearers. Strategies for strengthening the party at the booth level were also discussed in detail.
Nitin Nabin emphasised strong organisation-building and good governance during the Core Committee meeting.
Addressing senior leaders, Nitin Nabin gave special directions for both the party organisation and the government. He presented a clear roadmap and offered five key suggestions for achieving the vision of a ‘Developed Odisha by 2036’.
Highlighting the importance of a strong organisational structure, he told party leaders, “If the organisation remains healthy and strong, the government will automatically move forward.”
He urged party workers not to be satisfied with small achievements and to work as hard as possible to strengthen the party at all levels.
Nitin Nabin also gave clear instructions on governance, asking ministers and officials to focus on reaching people more effectively. He asked them to make it a ‘mantra’ to ensure that government schemes and benefits reach the ground level with greater efficiency and transparency.
